Adriel Rivera is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. Adriel earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Missio Seminary (formerly known as Biblical Theological Seminary) in 2019 and has been counseling young children, adolescents, families, and adults since then. Adriel has experience with supporting caregivers through parenting challenges and is gifted in counseling people who have experienced: complex trauma, ADHD symptoms, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and mood disorders.
Adriel is passionate about sharing the transformative power of Jesus with all her clients and believes the heart is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23). Her therapeutic approach is influenced by God’s Word and research in the fields of trauma, attachment, and interpersonal relationships and human development across the lifespan.
Adriel draws from her experience working with adolescents in public schools, alternative schools, and juvenile detention centers. She is married, yet raised her almost-grown son as a single mom, participated and led support groups for women in her community, and has learned that being truly known yields lasting healing and comfort.
Adriel offers in-person counseling sessions at the CCM Easton location as well as virtual sessions.
