Adriel Rivera

Adriel graduated with her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Missio Seminary (formerly Biblical Theological Seminary) in 2019 and is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. Her current areas of interest are identity issues, attachment and betrayal trauma, parent-child conflicts, emotional and sexual abuse, addictions, spiritual crisis, grief/loss, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

Adriel works with children, adolescents, families, and women. For 4 years, Adriel served local public schools, alternative schools, and youth detention centers with the LifeSMART (Sexual Maturity and Relationship Truths) program with a message of truth and strategies to navigate relationships and their sexuality. She has led support groups for women in her community and actively teaches women’s Bible study.

Adriel believes that a safe and stable therapeutic relationship is critical to the healing process and she strives to create an authentic and accepting environment while using evidence-based treatments and Christ-centered interventions. Additionally, she draws from the life experience of being a young single mom to a teenage son whom she loves goofing around with over good food.

Adriel offers in-person counseling sessions at the CCM Easton location as well as virtual sessions.
