Master’s/Doctoral Level Mental Health Counseling Intern

Cornerstone Counseling Ministries (CCM) is a growing Christ-centered counseling ministry serving the state of PA with locations in the Lehigh Valley area and Philadelphia. Our mission is to use evidence-based practices and faith-based principles to restore hope, transform hearts, and rebuild communities. We are hiring a student intern currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program. The interested person will be open to being trained as a Professional Counselor through a Christ-Centered lens. We provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy as well as school-based programming.

Qualifications:
-Enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral level counseling program
-Must be allowed to be supervised under an LPC (Master’s level)
-Ability to supervise Master’s level therapists (Doctoral level only)
-Strong desire to approach counseling through a Christ-centered lens
-In-person and virtual capacity to see clients

Responsibilities:
-10-15 hours per week of Individual, Group, Family, or Couples Counseling as well as school-based programming
-Develop and monitor progress of treatment plans
-Collaborate on interventions with other clinical staff as well as key players in client’s life
-Understand and apply the DSM-5 to diagnose and treat client
-Ability to develop curriculum for training; workshops; or school-based programming
-Attend monthly group supervision
-Attend staff meetings
-Participate in community-related events
-Willing to supervise Master’s level or pre-licensed interns (Doctoral level only)

Monday-Friday and weekend availability
