Serrina Hutka
Serrina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University and a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Centenary College (now University). After earning tenure as a school counselor, Serrina went on to complete additional coursework needed toward clinical licensure requirements. Serrina also completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Serrina is a certified school counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Serrina has over a decade of experience counseling people of all ages and walks of life but especially enjoys helping individuals navigate symptoms of depression and anxiety. Serrina utilizes a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Serrina aims to be empathic, accepting, and genuine, and believes she is not the “expert” on the client’s life, rather a helper. She strives to see each client how God sees them, which is what brought her to CCM.
When she is not working, she enjoys the beach, running (and running at the beach!), trying to be a “foodie”, fellowshiping with her small group, and hugging her dog (and any other dog who crosses her path). Serrina and her husband live and attend church in the Lehigh Valley.
Serrina offers in-person counseling sessions at the CCM Easton location as well as virtual sessions.
